The star of the restaurant is the meat. Briskets, steaks, hamburgers and ribs slowly smoked, grilled, roasted and blended with sauces!
Their homemade sauces are probably one of the highlights. We tried five of them with chips and also the main dishes. My favourite and also the most famous, that got even an award, is the Rich & Sassy sauce. Following there are the spicy ones named Devil’s Spit and Texas’ Spit that ended up being Jordi’s favourite. If you prefer a sweet taste you will have the Sweet & Zesty and the Georgia Mustard. The first four are tomato based and the last, as the name itself suggest, is mustard. Don’t worry if you don’t remember it all now, because your waiter will kindly explain it all detailed when you arrive.
From appetizers to desserts the menu is wide and there are a lot of different dishes to try, and as well it’s possible to get some vegetarian variants.
As starters, we had the David’s Sassy BBQ salad with Texas beef brisket and the nachos with BBQ chicken. Both of them were really generous portions and definitely finger-liking!
On advice of our waiter, for main course we got one of their remarkable dishes: the Texas beef brisket. Juicy meat, slowly cooked and smoked for an amount of 12 hours. Since we took the combo platter with it, we had also chicken wings and two side dishes, their version of mac & cheese and creamy coleslaw.
To accompany our meal we tried some of their drinks, and I have to say that I really enjoyed the cosmopassion one. In the end, if you still have some space, you can pick one of their homemade desserts. We shared a banana pudding, so yummy!
