We are about to do something we have never done before: Write a review about a place we’ve not tried ourselves! If you are thinking is for some kind of publicity campaign or we are getting paid somehow, you couldn’t be more wrong.
Can you imagine eating in a Michelin-starred restaurant… for less than 2$? Well, this basically is what is Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice & Noodle. A stall in the heart of Singapore’s China Town that won a Michelin star few months ago.
You will find it in an open-air food court, called Chinatown Complex, in the stand number 126 of the second floor. We read about it and we wanted to go but when we got there, the whole complex was closed due to spring cleaning for two days. The exact two days we spent on Singapore!
So as you can guess, we couldn’t try it, but we still think it must be an amazing place for people looking for a budget meal. As some locals told us, you will have to spend time queuing. Sometimes up to 3 hours! But as they say it’s worth.
So if you go to Singapore pass by there and let us know if it’s only hype or really worth it!
